This is the most important part of the planning process: evaluation, assessment of progress, definition of problems, and identification of corrective action. A plan is not a static document put on a shelf and referred to once in a while. A plan changes based on feedback from the real world. Steps 4 and 5 are really all part of the planning process: you document your plan, execute it, and evaluate it.

This is why it is important to document every table that you play. This is mandatory if this step is to be successfully accomplished.

Step 6: Give A Little Bit Back By Helping And Working With Other Players

There is no better way to reinforce your knowledge and skills than to teach it to someone else. Your weak areas are exposed when you are teaching, which enables you to focus on those areas in order to improve them. Best of all, you will get a tremendous amount of satisfaction by helping people who have less experience than you do.
